World Backup Day 2022 is a time to reflect on data protection strategies and reassess their effectiveness. With much of our lives recorded online, we need to be vigilant against security threats so we can better protect both our personal and business-critical data.

What is a backup?

A backup is a copy of files such as family photos, home videos, documents, and emails. Instead of storing data in one place, such as on a PC or smartphone, you can store copies in a safe place. You can choose a reliable and secure hosting here.

It happens to all of us: one precious photo or video that was taken to commemorate a moment, but it no longer exists. Broken hard drives, hacked PCs, malfunctioning phones, or any other failure that resulted in the destruction of unrecoverable items, we have all experienced this.

Obviously, there are other ways to create backups. Both online and offline. In fact, there are too many themes for each device, but we will briefly mention most of them.

As you can see, backing up is no small feat, and you should always try to be on top of things. Do not forget to back up your files this World Backup Day March 31th.

In the digital world, many of us live from our phones. Whether for business or personal use, these electronic assistants often contain documents, images, videos, and music. Do you really want to risk losing it all when backup options are so available?

Welcome to World Backup Day, the day everyone backs up their devices. Remember that it is also recommended to have two backups, one local and one elsewhere. It can be as simple as having a your photos flash drive at another family members house, or having regular cloud backups.

The date of March 31st rolled around, and given its proximity to April Fools Day, it was a reminder to back up your belongings. I mean, no one wants to be an April Fool.

I am thrilled with the response to World Backup Day and hope it has changed people lives, said World Backup Day founder Ismail Jadun.

We all know someone who has lost data, be it videos, photos, music, book reports, or personal items. Hopefully this day will make everyone think about their situation, learn about options, and back up their files. I hope that World Backup Day will spark conversations about the challenge of preserving our digital heritage for future generations.
